Why L4 Outdoors Is Becoming More Than Just a Clothing Brand

If you had asked me a few years ago where I saw myself, I would have told you exactly where I am today—a wife, a mom to four amazing boys, and a CFO with a demanding career that keeps me busy every day.

What I didn't realize was how quickly life would move.

Between board meetings, budgets, baseball practices, school events, meal planning, laundry, and everything else that comes with raising a family, I found myself constantly racing from one thing to the next. Like many working moms, I was checking off tasks and meeting deadlines, but I wasn't always slowing down to enjoy the moments that mattered most.

The truth is, my favorite moments have never happened in an office.

They happen on fishing trips with my boys. They happen on family beach vacations. They happen sitting around a dinner table after a long day outdoors. They happen while planning our dream home and imagining the memories we'll make there together.

That's where the idea behind L4 Outdoors really began.

What started as a children's outdoor apparel brand has grown into something bigger in my heart. I want L4 Outdoors to be a place that celebrates faith, family, and the outdoors. A place where I can share the things that bring our family together—from outdoor adventures and family travel to recipes, home projects, and the everyday realities of balancing a career and motherhood.

This isn't a story about leaving my career behind.

It's about creating something that aligns more closely with the life I'm trying to build.

A life where success isn't measured only by titles, meetings, or numbers on a spreadsheet, but by time spent with the people I love most.

Through this blog, I hope to share pieces of our family's journey, the lessons we're learning, the adventures we're taking, and the traditions we're building along the way.

Whether you're a fellow working parent, an outdoor-loving family, or someone simply trying to slow down and enjoy life a little more, I'm glad you're here.

Welcome to L4 Outdoors.

Faith. Family. The Outdoors.
